Hunan Xiangbao Bamboo & Wood Products Co., Ltd., established in July 2017 with a registered capital of 22 million yuan and a total investment of 40 million yuan, has attracted investment from Cha 'ensi Bamboo & Wood Industrial Park in Tianyi Demonstration Zone, Xiangtan County. It takes advantage of local bamboo resources to establish a cooperation platform with Xiangtan University to give full play to talents and scientific and technological advantages, research and develop comprehensive utilization of bamboo, develop new bamboo products, and actively promote replacing plastics with bamboo. The company plans to put into production in May 2021, consuming 40,000 tons of bamboo, exporting 150,000 boxes of bamboo chopsticks and 100,000 boxes of bamboo knives and forks, with an annual output value of 50 million yuan and an annual tax of 2 million yuan, which can create more than 200 jobs in rows, driving more than 1,000 farmers around to find jobs and increasing income for farmers.
